Our Ethics
Last updated: October 2026
At Crafting Tomorrow, ethical design is not an afterthought—it is the foundation of our entire ecosystem. We build infrastructure that prioritizes the wellbeing of students, educators, and families over rapid technological disruption.
Responsible European Values
We are firmly rooted in European principles of digital sovereignty, data minimization, and privacy. We design our tools to meet the requirements of the EU AI Act and the GDPR, for institutional-grade safety.
Human-Centric AI
Artificial Intelligence should augment human capability and judgment, not replace it. Our platforms (JanusEd and ParentBites) are designed to provide transparency, giving educators and parents complete control and context over how technology interacts with their children.
Inclusion and Accessibility
We are committed to bridging the digital divide. By providing open dialogue, accessible interfaces, and equitable tools, we work actively to prevent an educational ecosystem where only a privileged few benefit from technological advancement.
Accountability
We own the outcomes of our infrastructure. Through rigorous auditing and an ongoing dialogue with schools, governments, and parents, we ensure our generative models and algorithms are consistently held to the highest standards of safety and bias mitigation.
How Our Platform Earns Trust
Values only matter if they are built into the system. These are the rules every part of the Crafting Tomorrow platform is designed to follow:
- Customers stay separate. One customer's information must never reach another — not through search, exports, notifications or AI-generated results.
- Your data has a home region. Every customer has a home region. Private content and its processing stay there, using only suppliers approved for that data and purpose.
- Every result shows its sources. Results link back to the exact source version they were made from, so they can be checked and re-run.
- History is never rewritten. When a source changes, we produce a new result and keep the old one — so you can see what changed and why.
- AI drafts, people decide. AI-generated content is always marked as such, and a person reviews before learning material is published or the questions behind an analysis change.
- Access is checked and recorded. Finding an item does not grant permission to open it, and every access to customer data is logged.
